Puppies

Puppies learn a great deal before they are even four months old - so they will learn both good things, and things you would rather they hadn't learnt!

We encourage owners to contact us as soon as possible about training their puppy, because that is when they are easiest for you to train. We will always try to accommodate older puppies, but the younger you start bringing your puppy training, the easier it will be to teach it good manners.

Puppies must have been vaccinated before coming to obedience classes, and we take them as early as possible .

At the present time, we run three puppy classes; the classes work toward the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Award and cover the basics of dog ownership whilst allowing your puppy to socialise and learn some basic commands. For those wanting to progress further, we hold classes that enable you to work towards the Bronze, Silver and Gold Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards.

For class times, please see the class list on the Obedience page.
