Ringcraft Match

Tuesday 20 November 2018

We are going to have a match night on Tuesday 20 November so grooming brushes, combs etc. at the ready.
There will be five classes,
Puppy from 4 to 12 months, junior up to 18 months,
Post Grad, Open and Best handler.

We will have tea, coffee, cold drinks and cake, there will be a raffle and any donation to suit humans or dogs would really be appreciated.
As some of you are aware we had to cancel our pre-Crufts match due to the appalling weather conditions, and as much as Adrienne and I would have liked to have run matches through the year we did not think our attendances at Ring Craft would have supported a match. As some of you are aware I personally am loath to ask somebody who might have travelled a considerable distance to judge a match with an entry of around 15 dogs. However, we have quite a few new members that have joined recently and with the support of long standing members we could have a successful well attended evening.
Everybody is welcome so please come along. It doesn’t matter how much or little experience you have, this is a fun evening for everybody and gives you a chance to put into practise what you have learnt with Adrienne. So don’t forget your ring clips, and remember you all take the best dog home. See you all on Tuesday 20th – please support.

Quiz Night

Monday 10th December

Tickets are £9.00 which includes a fish and chip supper, tickets are on sale at your training class from this week.

Post Office Social Club at Trenham Drive, Warlingham CR6 9RU - and arrival time is 7.00 pm for a 7.30 pm start.

Anyone can come to quiz night, there is no need to make up a team. We can make teams up on the night, or you can organise a team from your training night, or bring along friends and family. If you’re putting together your own team or teams we like to keep it fair by keeping the number in a team to between 6 and 8. The evening is about having fun, meeting other club members and to raise funds for the club's charity of the year - Waggytails – so come along if you can.

We will also have a wonderful raffle on the night with prizes for both dogs and people, so if you can't come to the quiz or even if you do, you will be able to support the charity by bring raffle donations to your training classes over the next few weeks. We want things for both dogs and humans so have a route through your cupboards or take a trip to the supermarket and bring in some goodies, we particularly like things with a Christmas theme but bring what you can food, drink, smellies, gifts, etc., baskets get made up from everything that gets donated. So when you go to class over the next three weeks remember to buy your quiz ticket and bring a donation for the raffle.
